John Lennon

Anna's first concert experience was seeing
the B-52's on their "Mesopotamia" tour
when she was 11. Things rapidly went downhill
when she fell in with a bad crowd and ended
up owning a Def Leppard Union Jack muscle-tee
AND a Journey "Escape" bandana. At the
blossoming age of 15, she broke free of the
shackles of arena rock, got an asymmetrical
haircut, dyed her bangs blue, and flirted her
way into hundreds of "new wave" promo records,
"donated" by the hapless boys at the nearby
record store. She now runs her own record
label called TallBoy Records, specializing in
highly melodic Power Pop. Her current obsessions
include Hawaiian music of the '30s and '40s and
an unending devotion to Bobby Darin.
